What a Night, lol.

So I was at work tonight getting ready to close up (it was about 11:30 and I was trying to get my closing stuff done) when this lady who comes in quite often came in to buy some beer. She had been in earlier that night with her husband and they had bought a 12 pack of the same stuff she was trying to buy now. Right after she walked in, a cop followed. The woman was now in our walk-in beer cooler. He walked over to it and asked her to come out so they could talk. At first he was irate with her because she had jay-walked right in front of him (on state street in the dark, hello moron). Then he realized she was drunk so he asked her how much she had to drink tonight and she said nothing. I let the cop know after she denied drinking more than once to him that she had already purchased beer tonight. He called for backup to come to the store. Within 2 minutes another cop car was there and they asked her to take a breathalizer test (I have no idea how you spell that) She refused. He asked her multiple times and told her if she didn't take it he would arrest her and she refused so he got his handcuffs out. Of course then she said she'd take it but he said it was too late. She started to resist so they kind of forced her against my counter. She kept saying that it was a race issue and that this was a free land and that she was here first so it was her land (she was native american) Anyway before I knew it there were about 8 cops in my store and I was closing in 5 minutes, lol. I did feel bad for the woman because she was crying and saying she wanted her husband. She comes in a lot and she is really nice. I've never felt so safe leaving my store though, as there were 3 cop cars still in the parking lot when I left, lol.

On another note I'm super sick. Going to work the last two days has sucked REALLY REALLY bad. I can't breathe at all or hear any of the customers. I spent all day sunday in bed and Joey's mom took Taylar yesterday so I spent all of monday in bed. Today I didn't get to do that, but I did take a nap. Ugh stupid germs.
